In tough times you need the best team on your side. Our dispute management lawyers are focussed on achieving clients’ commercial objectives in the face of the most difficult challenges – whatever they may be.
We believe it is essential that legal cases do not take on a life of their own, divorced from the business objectives of our client. We work closely with clients to understand those objectives, and we do not shy away from giving the difficult advice (when needed) to enable you to evaluate the true merits of a case and likely outcomes.
Although our solicitors are skilled in dealing with all aspects of court proceedings (including urgent injunctive relief) we are strongly committed to using alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for all cases where it is suitable. We represent our clients tenaciously through tough negotiations and achieve outcomes that are often cheaper, quicker and more focussed on business needs than court proceedings can deliver.
As well as providing accurate budgets and cashflows throughout litigation, we are able to consider alternative litigation funding through our innovative CalcuLit™ scheme sharing the risk of litigation with our clients through the use of Conditional Fee Agreements, After The Event Insurance and Litigation Funding. In appropriate cases this can mean litigation is funded at minimal cost and risk to our clients. During 2013 we will monitor the introduction of Damages Contingency Fees and continue to offer the most innovative and beneficial solutions possible.
Most importantly, we have a great team of people you will enjoy working with.
