Ruth joined Morgan Cole in 2007 and is a solicitor in the Employment, Pensions & Benefits Group. Ruth acts for organisations in both the public and private sectors. Ruth has experience in a variety of employment tribunal work including defending claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract claims. Ruth also has experience in advising employers about the issues arising out of the termination of employment and has advised and supported employers when they are carrying out grievances, disciplinary hearings and managing employees with long term and persistent intermittent sickness absence. She also advises employers on their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, family friendly employment law policies and TUPE issues. Ruth also has experience on drafting and advising on severance packages, compromise agreements, contracts and employment policies and guidance.
