Tom is a practising barrister. He received a major scholarship from Middle Temple, and was called to the Bar as Jules Thorne Scholar in 2005. He specialises in criminal and regulatory law. He provides advocacy, advice and training to a range of different clients, including organisations in both the public and private sectors.
Tom works on a range of criminal and regulatory cases, and appears on behalf of both prosecution and defence before the Magistrates’ Courts. He acts for defendants in Trading Standards, Road Traffic, Food Safety, and Licensing matters. Tom also prosecutes on behalf of a number of regulatory bodies, and regularly conducts work on professional misconduct cases involving health and social care professionals, and solicitors.
