Matthew has wide experience of both contentious and non-contentious employment work, in particular Employment Tribunal cases, and was recently involved in the House of Lords case of Serco Limited v Lawson in relation to the jurisdiction of Employment Tribunals.
Matthew has advised a range of clients from diverse backgrounds including (in the private sector) manufacturing, banking, other financial services, energy and retailing and (in the public sector) regional government, NHS trusts, higher education institutions, local authorities and a police force.
Matthew has also devised or contributed to a number of training seminars (including mock Employment Tribunals) across a broad spectrum of employment law issues, in particular in relation to discrimination issues.
