Stephen is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Management Group, mainly based at the firm's Oxford office. Stephen handles a range of large scale commercial and contract disputes, including applications for emergency injunctions, civil fraud work and procurement disputes. He regularly handles disputes concerning rights over land or claims concerning uses of land, both through the courts and the Adjudicator to HM Land Registry. He has particular expertise in numerous disputes concerning commercial agents, regularly acting for both agents and principals, and has taken cases to the Court of Appeal and House of Lords, as well as successfully resolving many claims at mediations. He often handles IT disputes, including a number of cyber squatting cases. He is also in the firm's Education group, and has acted in various pieces of litigation affecting schools.
