Morgan Cole run a summer programme for graduates seeking a training contract with our firm. Throughout the month of July we run our Summer Vacation scheme - a week long programme.
The week is a good mix of hands on work experience alongside our fee-earners and group activities with your fellow vacation scheme attendees. The week is popular as it provides an insight into being a trainee at Morgan Cole.
Our Trainee Assessment Centre scheme is run during the last week of August.
We hold the Assessment Centre days at our Cardiff office for both Wales and Thames Valley applicants as it gives you a chance to see how the firm comes together across both regions and allows you to mix with fee-earners from all locations.
We run three Assessment Days across the week (Tuesday to Thursday) seeing 20 applicants on each day. Each day is identical ensuring the same consistent approach for all applicants.
You can expect exercises to test your skills as a trainee solicitor, group games assessing the core competencies we expect from all our employees, a panel interview and finally a chance to grill our existing Trainees in an informal Q&A session.
You should hear within two weeks of the closing dates for each scheme whether or not you have been selected for our Summer Vacation Scheme or Trainee Assessment Centre (TAC).
If selected you will be asked to book your preferred date to attend via an on-line system on a first come, first served basis.
