David became a partner at Morgan Cole in 1985. His areas of practice include professional indemnity, clinical negligence and personal injury (both claimant and defendant). David is team leader of the health and professional indemnity team and is also a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is a trained mediator.         

David has acted in a number of claims where damages exceeded £1m and he has also litigated claims in the USA. He advices NHS Trusts on NHS law. He investigates and presents cases for the Nursing and Midwifery Council. He has acted for NHS clients in high profile Inquests in the Coroner’s Court. He has acted for medical practitioners in police manslaughter investigations. He also acts for Solicitors in professional indemnity claims.
