Maxine has significant experience of both contentious and non-contentious employment work, in particular the running of Employment Tribunal cases. She has advised a range of clients from both the public and private sector including (in the private sector) manufacturing, retail and leisure, (in the public sector) regional government, NHS trusts and higher education institutions. Maxine also regularly undertakes training sessions for clients.
Maxine has undertaken a considerable amount of advisory work for clients, providing support on a wide variety of day to day employment issues as well as advising on other issues including advising on the application or the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, advising on severance packages for senior executives and business re-organisation/re-structuring.
