National Staff Dismissal Register launched

On average, staff theft and fraud costs the retail industry £497 million per year. The National Staff Dismissal Register (the Register), an initiative by the Action Against Business Crime (AABC) Group, is a database designed to hold and share details of employees who have been dismissed or left a company whilst under suspicion of theft, fraud, forgery, damaging company property or causing a loss to the employer or suppliers. Care needed when drafting compromise agreements
