  • defending a major claim against a well-known commercial client arising out of the interpretation of an IT software contract
  • acting for and representing at trial a fisheries farm in proceedings against a national utility company for damages arising from its alterations to a reservoir and dam facility. Damages claimed were in excess of £3 million and the trial listed for four weeks (Pembrokeshire Fish Farms v Dwr Cymru Welsh Water)
  • advising a company and two directors in relation to proceedings brought against them involving a dispute between the four directors regarding a partnership created by them and set up for the purpose of buying the company’s premises
  • acting on behalf of a national manufacturer of industrial components in the High Court. Successfully defending and obtaining judgment by way of counterclaim damages for breach of a highly complex and technical contract for the supply of manufacturing productivity services
  • advising the producer and supplier of rag worms for the feed industry in a potential action against the Ministry of Defence. The proceedings arise out of a proposed multi-million pound investment opportunity for the West Wales area, for losses arising out of misrepresentations made in respect of land proposed for a multi-million pound investment opportunity in West Wales
