Sean is head of construction for Morgan Cole’s Bristol office and has specialised for over 11 years in advising on construction and engineering projects. He acts for main contractors, developers and end users giving front end procurement and drafting advice as well as dispute management and resolution. 

Sean has wide experience of most standard forms of contract (JCT, ICE, ECC, PPC etc) as well as framework agreements and call-off contracts involving utility companies and housing associations.  He has worked on the MOD Aspire and Prime Housing projects, NHS ProCure 21 and NHS Lift as well as Building Schools for the Future.  He regularly advises contractors on issues of payment security and drafts security agreements. 

Sean has acted in numerous adjudications, has successfully resisted the enforcement of adjudicator’s decisions (RSL v Stansell) and has arbitrated, mediated and litigated construction disputes.  He is a member of the Society of Construction Law and TeCSA.
