The group regularly advises on diverse areas of competition law. Recent highlights include:

• advice in the context of the Office of Fair Trading’s investigation into alleged exchange of prospective fees information among independent schools
• advice in the context of the Office of Trading’s investigation into price-fixing by a toy manufacturer
• advising manufacturers of white goods, musical instruments, tools and cosmetics on distribution strategies and sales channels
• advising a trade association on competition law implications of certain proposed courses of action
• advising a motor vehicle retailer on competition law implications for the industry in the light of the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption
• developing and delivering a competition law compliance training programme for a national high street retailer
• advising a manufacturer of construction materials on competition law compliance

We also have experience in "dawn raids" and can provide rapid support in the event of one near to our offices in Cardiff, Oxford, Reading, Swansea and Bristol. Each office has its own "dawn raids" team, comprising senior lawyers who have either experienced dawn raids or received dawn raids training.
