Morgan Cole advised the Department of Health on a major project with an independent sector partner (UK Specialist Hospitals) to deliver elective (non-emergency) surgical procedures in the Avon, Gloucester and Wiltshire region. Contracts were signed in July this year.

The six year scheme (likely to be worth over £200 million) involves delivering services from four treatment centres across the region, including two new-build facilities and the refurbishment of an NHS facility. The scheme is due to "go live" and start treating patients in November 2009.
