Wales: Velindre

Velindre Cancer Centre is the largest non-surgical cancer Hospital in Wales providing Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and other specialised anti-cancer treatments for over half the people diagnosed with cancer in Wales. More people survive cancer than ever before thanks to early detection and better treatments.

It is estimated that by 2015 there will be a 30% increase in the most common forms of cancer in Wales. Velindre are determined to raise the money necessary to enable these new challenges are met. http://www.velindrefundraising.com/

Thames Valley: Vale House

Vale House is a nursing home providing specialist care for the people suffering from severe dementia until the end of their lives. One of the first of its kind, it has amassed considerable experience in the field, and is now recognised both nationally and internationally as a benchmark for good practice. www.valehouse.org.uk

Bristol: Children's Hospice South West

Children's Hospice South West helps to build precious memories for families whose children are living with life-limiting or life threatening conditions. We rely on the generosity and efforts of people like you to help us to deliver our promise to ‘make the most of short and precious lives across the South West’.
