In the case Grainger plc v Nicholson which attracted a great deal of media interest, the EAT held that an individual’s belief in climate change was capable of being a 'belief' and gave guidance as to what amounts to a belief.

New sentencing guidelines for corporate manslaughter

A recent consultation exercise was launched by the Sentencing Guidelines Council to identify the appropriate level of sentencing for corporate manslaughter convictions. The consultation exercise closes on 5 January 2010.

Retirement age review
