Employment breakfast club - All change in 2009! - Swansea 27 Nov 08

With a view to what’s to come in 2009, the next breakfast club is entitled ‘All change!’

This time we’ll be looking at two different scenarios, using case studies and our usual interactive format of discussion groups to find practical solutions to tricky legal issues. We will also be providing an overview and update on the most significant changes to come in 2009.

The case studies this time will deal with:

  • organisational change and in particular ways to avoid redundancy, such as lay offs, reduced hours and other changes to terms and conditions;
  • the changes to maternity rights and the issues which arise before, during and after maternity leave.

As usual, there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions and we very much hope that you will be able to join us. The cost is £20 per delegate plus VAT. The breakfast clubs are suitable for those with responsibility for managing human resource issues and are proving very popular, so please make sure you book in good time.

If you have an interest in a particular topic, please do let us know, we can either include it as part of a future breakfast club or (if you prefer) we can provide in-house training tailored for your requirements on a whole range of employment topics.

If you are a member of the Law Society this event will attract 1.5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. (Morgan Cole ref: DPG/MOCO). All of our delegates can request a Morgan Cole training certificate which confirms their attendance and CPD entitlement.

Breakfast is provided from the start time shown and the seminar starts 30 minutes later.
