Tracey John

Tracey has been with the firm since 1988 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. She is based in our property litigation department in Swansea and specialises in dealing with issues relating to residential property.

Tracey has considerable experience in acting for housing associations and social landlords in numerous nuisance and anti-social behaviour cases and has been one of the first lawyers to obtain Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions/Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and Demotion Orders for numerous housing association clients in courts across Wales. A number of Tracey's recent cases have been chosen to be published as best practice models on a government website in relation to anti-social behaviour issues. She has become a housing litigation specialist as a result of the work undertaken which also includes general advice in relation to issues with residential tenancies eg. disrepair/succession issues.

Some of Tracey's commercial property work is undertaken in relation to removing travellers from sites of land which has included recently removing them from college land in Oxford.
