We have recently strengthened our position as one of the top two employment law practices in Wales with the appointment of solicitor Maxine Douglas to the Cardiff office.

Maxine, who spent three years with Berry Smith in Cardiff, joins a team of five employment partners and 14 employment law solicitors and she will be based at our Park Place headquarters in the city.

The team was recently rated as one of the top two employment practices in Wales by Chambers UK 2008 Guide, one of the leading independent publications for the legal sector.

Maxine joins a practice with particular experience in central and regional government, higher education, emergency services, health, housing associations, IT, manufacturing, retail and  transport & logistics.

Aged 27, Maxine studied law at University of Exeter, won a Commendation during her legal practice course at University of Wales, Cardiff and completed her training in London in 2004.

She specialises in contentious and non-contentious employment work and has experience in both the public and private sector. "The team at Morgan Cole is recognised as one of the top two in Wales, so it’s a great career opportunity for me," said Maxine.
