Darren joined Morgan Cole’s Commercial team in November 2005, having spent six years within the technology team of a firm in Oxford . He has specialist expertise in a variety of sectors including information technology, e-commerce and healthcare.  Darren recently spent 6 months working within the Commercial Directorate at the Department of Health, advising the Secretary of State on the implementation and management of its contracts for the provision of Independent Sector Treatment Centres across the Country.  Although Darren’s advice is predominantly to IT systems/service providers and technology based businesses, he advises a wide spectrum of organisations ranging from government departments and regulatory bodies, to utility companies and technology spin-outs.  Having a corporate background and the necessary first hand experience of advising clients on a variety of innovative new technologies, such as nanotechnology, RFID and IPTV, it is inevitable that Darren retains a keen interest in helping clients develop and exploit their ideas.

Darren has lectured on subjects such as e-mail archiving and information security, and provides contract management training to company directors and senior executives.
