Matthew is an intellectual property lawyer specialising in the protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights internationally. He advises clients on all aspects of copyright, trade mark and design protection, prosecutes applications and acts for clients in opposition proceedings and co-existence negotiations. Matthew has experience of a broad range of intellectual property related agreements and is experienced in international technology and trade mark licensing projects. He also advises clients on the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions.
Matthew has significant in-house experience having undertaken secondments to a global oil company and an international engineering business where he focused on international technology transfer and brand protection. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked at an international television distributor where he advised on a range of exploitation and clearance issues specific to the television industry.
